Looking relaxed in an off-the-shoulder striped top, pop star Cheryl serving soldiers, sailors and airmen boxes of food during the 12-hour flight to the province of Helmand.
“They were on the moon to see her,” said a military occupant.
“When she started handing out food, we were all amazed – do not have to.”
Cheryl is also handling guns and join the fake shootouts with soldiers.
“I always had admiration for what you guys here, but when there’s work is awe inspiring,” Cheryl, 28, tells the Daily Mirror.
“I am glad that you recognize all the hard work they do. Each of them is a hero in my book.”
