Akshay Kumar takes a cue from Salman Khan

Bollywood actors have been keenly following South films as the remakes of South Indian films are proving money spinners at Bolly Box office. Salman Khan is leading the pack with most south remakes under his belt. His upcoming films Ready, Kick and Bodyguard all are imported from South.

Akshay Kumar who has been running through lean patch is now taking a cue from Salman Khan and is eyeing to remake a South hit in Hindi. Recent Tamil hit Ko is likely to be remade in Hindi with Akshay Kumar as the lead. Ko is a smash hit in Tamil and is being dubbed into Telugu as Rangam. Telugu version will release on May 13.

Jeeva, Karthika and Pia Bajpai played the lead roles in Ko that is directed by KV Anand. The lead man is a photo journalist in this movie.
